Jacobaea erucifolia is an upright annual-biennial in the Asteraceae, grown for bedding and naturalistic planting. It carries pinnate, lobed leaves and flowers from June to September. Place it on south-facing, sheltered ground in neutral loam that drains freely. The species is native across temperate Eurasia, from western Europe through Siberia to East Asia.

Jacobaea is a genus of flowering plants in the tribe Senecioneae and the family Asteraceae. Its members used to be placed in the genus Senecio, but have been separated into the segregate genus Jacobaea on the basis of molecular phylogenetics in order to maintain genera that are monophyletic.
