Diphylleia

Diphylleia cymosa is a deciduous perennial that gradually develops into clumps, reaching heights of up to 60 cm. Its long-stemmed, rounded leaves typically emerge with a red or bronze hue in the spring and can expand to 60 cm in diameter, featuring two coarsely toothed lobes. From late spring to early summer, the plant produces small clusters of white flowers with six petals, measuring approximately 2 cm across. These flowers are succeeded by vibrant blue berries that grow on red stalks.
