Corydalis rutifolia is a species of flowering plant in the family Papaveraceae, endemic to the Troodos Mountains in Cyprus. It was first described by James Edward Smith in 1821 as Fumaria rutifolia. Grow it in partial shade and loam soil. In UK gardens it is hardy in most of the UK (RHS H5). It works well for rock garden, patio and container plants, cottage and informal garden, flower borders and beds and underplanting of roses and shrubs. It tolerates soil of any pH, moist but well-drained conditions and east-facing, north-facing, south-facing and west-facing aspects. Plant out after last frost in fertile, well-drained soil.

Corydalis is a genus of about 540 species of annual and perennial herbaceous plants in the family Papaveraceae, native to the temperate Northern Hemisphere and the high mountains of tropical eastern Africa. They are most diverse in China and the Himalayas, with at least 357 species in China. Corydalis species are the only dicots having only a single cotyledon.
