The studio invests significant time in each commission, allowing designs to evolve through close iteration and observation. A detailed approach to scale runs through the practice's work — the studio's view being that comfort in a garden is often a matter of centimetres in the height of a wall or the width of a path. Climate resilience is treated as a creative brief rather than a constraint, embedded into every material and planting decision from the earliest stages.
