With almost forty years' experience in horticulture, Chris Beardshaw brings substantial plant knowledge and an intrinsic understanding of the natural landscape to his projects. The practice works mainly on large country estates and is kept deliberately small to ensure quality and a personal connection with each client. Beardshaw's work has earned multiple RHS Gold Medals, and the studio is known for a measured, plant-first approach in which the soil, microclimate and history of a site shape every subsequent decision. The result is gardens designed for longevity rather than spectacle, with planting frameworks built to mature gracefully across decades.
