About
Scilla peruviana, the Portuguese squill, is a more or less evergreen bulbous perennial to 30 cm forming a rosette of narrowly lance-shaped, dark-green leaves. Large, conical racemes of many starry, violet-blue flowers 1.5 cm wide are produced in early summer. A spectacular and rewarding bulb for a sunny, well-drained border or large container.
