Rosa 'Uncle Bill' is a Hybrid Tea rose in the genus Rosa and the family Rosaceae. As a Hybrid Tea it produces single, stem-borne blooms suited to displaying individual heads; flowering runs from June to September. Where exact parentage is not detailed here, its floral habit follows the long-established Hybrid Tea pattern prized for cut flowers and formal beds. Plant in a well-drained, fertile soil and position where air can move freely to reduce leaf disease; roses perform best in a sunny, open spot. Feed with a balanced rose fertiliser at bud break and again after the main flush, and apply a mulch to conserve moisture and suppress weeds. Prune in late winter to create a framework of 3–5 strong canes and remove weak or inward-facing growth to focus energy into quality blooms. Rosa 'Uncle Bill' fits a rose bed, formal border or a position where single-stem blooms can be cut for vases. Allow one or two strong shoots to carry the principal flowers when shaping the plant each year so the characteristic Hybrid Tea presentation is preserved and the largest heads are shown to best effect.
