Myosotidium hortensia, the Chatham Island forget-me-not, is a perennial producing large, somewhat fleshy, glossy, emerald-green leaves to 30 cm long and terminal flowerheads of forget-me-not blue flowers, each 1.25 cm across, paler around the edges, held above the foliage in early summer. A beautiful and ornamental plant for a cool, moist, sheltered, coastal garden.
