About
Mitella breweri, Brewer's mitrewort, is a compact, evergreen perennial to around 15 cm forming a small clump of heart-shaped to rounded, hairy, green leaves with scalloped edges on long stalks. In late spring and summer, tall, slender stems bear one-sided spikes of tiny, yellow-green flowers with exquisitely fringed petals. A charming plant for a cool, moist, shaded woodland garden.
