Macrozamia spiralis is a species of cycad in the family Zamiaceae. It is endemic to New South Wales in eastern Australia, where it is found in sclerophyll forest on low-nutrient soils. Plants generally lack a trunk and have 2–12 leaves that range up to 100 cm (40 in) in length. Grow it in full sun and loam soil. In UK gardens it is hardy through an average UK winter (RHS H4). It works well for specimen plant, conservatories and patios. It tolerates neutral soils, well-drained conditions and south-facing aspects. Plant in well-drained soil in a suitable position.
