Jasminum officinale, the common jasmine, is a large, usually deciduous, vigorous climber reaching up to 12 m with green branches bearing mid-green leaves with 7�9 leaflets. Very fragrant, white flowers 2 cm wide open in terminal clusters of 3�10 in summer and early autumn. One of the most popular and fragrant of all garden climbers.
