Vigorous, creeping, deciduous perennial about 2cm in height with an indefinite spread, forming mats of rooting stems and rounded to kidney-shaped fleshy, vivid green leaves to 1cm long. From late spring to summer produces single almost stemless white to pale pink flowers to 8mm long with crimson veins.
