About

Hylocereus undatus, dragon fruit, is a vigorous, scrambling, epiphytic cactus with thick, jointed, three-angled, scalloped-edged stems and fine, grey-brown spines. Spectacular, intensely fragrant, white flowers to 30 cm across with narrow, yellow-green outer segments open at night in summer. If pollinated, these are followed by large, reddish-pink fruits with white flesh the dragon fruit of commerce. A dramatic and fruiting plant for a large heated greenhouse.
