About
This deciduous shrub to 1.3m high, with ovate, serrated, mid green leaves. Flower colour varies depending on the pH of the soil, from rich pink to violet blue. In summer, compact lace-cap flower heads bear clusters of tiny fertile flowers, edged with a ring of large, conspicuous florets with pointed petals.
