About
Whitish bracts surround the flower buds which open to very pale-purple flowers, carried on stems to 130cm in height in late summer. A herbaceous perennial forming large, vase-shaped clumps of broadly-ovate, deeply-veined, olive-green leaves. Leaves are typically 30cm wide by 20cm in length with a long, narrow tip and a lightly-waved edge.
