Helleborus x hybr. 'Pink Lady' is an evergreen hybrid hellebore that flowers from January to April, bringing winter to early-spring blooms. Plants form a multi-stemmed, rounded clump with persistent leaves that carry the display beyond the flowering months. It favours partial shade and a sheltered position. Grow it in neutral loam kept moist but well drained.

'Pink Lady' is a hybrid hellebore cultivated for its winter and early-spring flowering; it carries the evergreen foliage that keeps the plant present in the border outside the main flowering season. As a hybrid it is treated like other garden hellebores and is suitable where a reliable winter display is wanted. Sit plants in partial shade on a neutral loam that retains moisture without waterlogging; the species prefers soil that is moist but well drained. Position in a sheltered spot to reduce wind exposure and avoid harsh drying conditions. It will tolerate north-, east-, south- or west-facing sites so long as light levels remain dappled rather than full sun. Helleborus x hybr. 'Pink Lady' is fully hardy (H7) in UK gardens. Use it in cottage or informal borders, wildlife gardens, or as underplanting beneath roses and shrubs where its evergreen leaves and early flowers provide continuity. In mixed beds and around the bases of larger shrubs it fills the lower layer through winter into April, carrying its floral display at a time when many other herbaceous plants are dormant.
