Paesia scaberula is a lacy, creeping fern from New Zealand known for its finely divided fronds and scented foliage. It reaches around 1.15 metres and spreads to form a low ground cover in shaded sites. The plant prefers moist, well‑drained soil in a sheltered position and does best out of strong sun. Place it where the foliage can be appreciated at close quarters, since the leaves are noticeably fragrant.
