Argyranthemum is a bedding genus in the Asteraceae grown for a long summer display of daisy-like blooms from June to October. Native to the Canary Islands, Madeira and the Selvagens, it forms well-branched plants with green to grey-silver foliage. It favours full sun and a sheltered, south- or east-facing situation and will tolerate a wide range of soils so long as they are moist but well-drained.
