Gaultheria cuneata, the cuneate wintergreen, is a spreading, dwarf, evergreen shrub to 25 cm with small, leathery, narrowly oval leaves. Racemes of small, bell-shaped white flowers in late spring are followed by showy white berries to 1 cm wide. One of the most ornamental of the white-fruited gaultherias for a moist rock garden or peat bed.
