Gasteria acinacifolia, the sword-leaved ox tongue, is a large, stemless succulent producing strap-shaped, keeled, dark-green leaves to 30 cm long, often arranged in two rows, and arching stems of pendant, tubular pink flowers. One of the largest of the gasterias for a cactus house or large sunny windowsill.
