Fritillaria glauca is a species of fritillary known by the common names Siskiyou fritillary and Siskiyou missionbells. It is native to northern California, USA (as far south as Lake County) and southern Oregon (as far north as Lane County), where it is found in the serpentine talus on the slopes of the local mountains. In the garden it prefers full sun and sandy and loamy soil. In UK gardens it is fully hardy throughout the UK (RHS H7). Suggested uses include rock garden, cottage and informal garden and flower borders and beds. It tolerates soil of any pH, moist but well-drained conditions and south-facing, north-facing, east-facing and west-facing aspects. Plant at appropriate depth in well-drained soil.
