About

Echinocereus triglochidiatus, the claret cup cactus, is a robust, clump-forming cactus producing dense clusters of cylindrical, ribbed, spiny stems and vivid scarlet-red, funnel-shaped flowers in spring. One of the hardiest and most brilliantly coloured of all cacti, and a superb choice for a sunny, very well-drained border.
