Disa uniflora, the flower of the gods, is the most celebrated of all disa orchids and one of the most spectacular of all terrestrial orchids, producing brilliant-scarlet, hooded flowers to 7 cm across on stout stems in summer. The colour is among the purest reds achievable in any orchid. A sought-after and rewarding orchid for cool, moist growing conditions.
