Cypripedium californicum, the California lady's slipper, is a terrestrial orchid from California and Oregon producing the characteristic lance-shaped or oval leaves and pouched, slipper-shaped flowers of the genus in cream or yellow. A rewarding specialist orchid for a moist, cool, partly shaded position or cool greenhouse.
