Crocus pestalozzae is a species of flowering plant in the genus Crocus of the family Iridaceae. It is a cormous perennial native to Turkey. Native to both the Asian and European sides of the Bosphorus, growing in fields and on hills below 200 meters of elevation, flowering occurs in January to March. Grow it in full sun and loam soil. In UK gardens it is very hardy across most of the UK (RHS H6). It works well for borders, containers, lawns and under deciduous trees. It tolerates neutral soils, well-drained conditions and south-facing aspects. Plant at appropriate depth in well-drained soil.
