Arisaema jacquemontii is a species of flowering plant from the family Araceae that can be found growing on rocky slopes and in the forests on the elevation of 2,400–4,000 metres (7,900–13,100 ft) in 'Afghanistan, East Asia and Himalayas. It is native to Afghanistan, Assam, Bangladesh, China South-Central, East Himalaya and other regions. In the garden it prefers partial shade and loam and sand soil. In UK gardens it is half-hardy and may need winter protection in colder areas (RHS H3). Suggested uses include cottage and informal garden, flower borders and beds and underplanting of roses and shrubs. It tolerates acid and neutral soils, moist but well-drained conditions and north-facing, east-facing and west-facing aspects. Plant at appropriate depth in well-drained soil.
