Argyranthemum gracile, called the Tenerife white marguerite, is a species of flowering plant in the genus Argyranthemum, native to Tenerife in the Canary Islands. Its cultivar 'Chelsea Girl' has gained the Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit. Grow it in full sun and most soil types. In UK gardens it is tender and needs frost-free protection over winter (RHS H2). It works well for patio and container plants, city and courtyard gardens and mediterranean climate plants. It tolerates soil of any pH, moist but well-drained, well-drained conditions and south-facing, east-facing and west-facing aspects. Plant in well-drained soil in sun or partial shade.
