Arabis procurrens, the running rockcress or spreading rock cress, is a species of flowering plant in the family Brassicaceae. It is a spreading evergreen or semi-evergreen perennial, forming a dense mat of foliage, with loose racemes of white flowers in spring, suitable for cultivation in the alpine garden. This species is listed as invasive in Belgium, the Czech Republic and the United States of America. Grow it in full sun and most soil types. In UK gardens it is very hardy across most of the UK (RHS H6). It works well for gravel garden, rock garden, patio and container plants and wildlife gardens. It tolerates soil of any pH, well-drained conditions and east-facing, south-facing and west-facing aspects. Plant out after last frost in fertile, well-drained soil.
