Aquilegia laramiensis is a species of flowering plant in the buttercup family known by the common name Laramie columbine. It is endemic to Wyoming in the United States, where it is known only from the Laramie Mountains. This rhizomatous perennial herb produces stems up to 25 centimeters (9.8 in) long. The leaves are compound, divided into leaflets. In the garden it prefers full sun and partial shade and loam and sand soil. In UK gardens it is very hardy across most of the UK (RHS H6). Suggested uses include cottage gardens, informal spaces, wildlife gardens and cut flowers. It tolerates soil of any pH, moist but well-drained conditions and south-facing, east-facing and west-facing aspects. Plant in well-drained soil in a suitable position. Water during establishment.
