Alchemilla tytthantha, the Crimean lady's mantle, is a species of lady's mantle found in Europe. It is originally native to Crimea, but has been introduced to the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Belgium, and Great Britain. It was first reported in Britain (at Selkirk) in 1956 and has been treated as a weed in Britain since. The plant has relatively small flowers and is only slightly hairy. Grow it in full sun and partial shade and most soil types. In UK gardens it is very hardy across most of the UK (RHS H6). It works well for city and courtyard gardens, cottage and informal garden and rock garden. It tolerates soil of any pH, moist but well-drained, well-drained conditions and north-facing, south-facing, east-facing and west-facing aspects. Plant in well-drained soil in a suitable position. Water during establishment.

Alchemilla is a genus of herbaceous perennial plants in the family Rosaceae, with the common name lady's mantle applied generically as well as specifically to Alchemilla mollis when referred to as a garden plant. The plant used as a herbal tea or for medicinal usage such as gynaecological disorders is Alchemilla xanthochlora or in Middle Europe the so-called common lady's mantle Alchemilla vulgaris. There are about 700 species, the majority native to cool temperate and subarctic regions of Europe and Asia, with a few species native to the mountains of Africa and the Americas.
