Acacia doratoxylon, commonly known as currawang, lancewood, spearwood coast myall, or other names is a species of flowering plant in the family Fabaceae and is endemic to continental south-eastern Australia. It is a singled-stemmed shrub or tree with corrugated bark, linear phyllodes, spikes of golden yellow flowers and linear, wrinkled, more or less leathery pods. Grow it in full sun and loam and sand soil. In UK gardens it is half-hardy and may need winter protection in colder areas (RHS H3). It works well for city and courtyard gardens and mediterranean climate plants. It tolerates acid and neutral soils, moist but well-drained, well-drained conditions and south-facing and west-facing aspects. Plant in fertile, well-drained soil. Provide support.
