A Fellow of the Society of Garden Designers, Tom Hoblyn brings impressive horticultural expertise to all his gardens, carefully selecting climate-resilient plants to harmonise with the landscape — and often growing them himself. The practice now operates as Hoblyn & White. Hoblyn's show garden for Hospice UK at RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2025 is a series of sensory spaces with sustainable Mediterranean planting. The studio's distinctive position is shaped by Hoblyn's hands-on cultivation: a designer who grows plants before specifying them tends to specify differently, with closer attention to performance, provenance and seasonal behaviour.
