Miria Harris
About
A designer whose romantic sensibility creates sanctuaries from modern life — from a 200-acre Oxfordshire estate to a William Morris Gallery garden.
Whether working on a 200-acre historic estate in Oxfordshire or a new garden by the sea in Cornwall, Miria Harris brings a romantic sensibility to her work, producing spaces that offer a sanctuary from modern life. Current projects include a public garden for the William Morris Gallery in London E17 and a newbuild in Norway. The studio's work is consistently characterised by the quality of its planting and its emotional generosity — gardens designed for shelter, atmosphere and the slowing of pace rather than for visual impact alone.
