About
A former doctor whose design practice begins with how the client wants to feel in the space.
A former doctor, Juliet Sargeant has been creating successful gardens since 1997. The studio's design process starts with how the client wants to feel in the space, with every decision informed by the aim of making the garden feel as good as it looks. Sargeant teaches at her own Sussex Garden School and her book Start with Soil is published this spring. Current work includes a sustainable chalk garden in the South Downs, with the practice's medical background informing a deep interest in how environment affects wellbeing.
