About
A designer with an artist's eye, known for finely tuned details and planting precisely calibrated to each site.
Bringing an artist's eye to her projects, Jane Brockbank is known for finely tuned details and planting precisely calibrated to each site. Current projects include a London garden with 20th-century architecture specialists Coppin Dockray and a Yorkshire project with five acres of wetlands and meadows. The studio's work explores how a garden's structure can remain strong while its more ephemeral elements come and go without obliterating the spirit of the place — a way of thinking that treats the garden as a set of interlocking systems, each independently robust so that the whole can absorb change gracefully.
