About
Bergenia crassifolia 'Aureo-Marginata' is a clump-forming evergreen perennial that reaches a height of approximately 45 cm. Its broad, oval leaves can grow up to 18 cm long, displaying a mid-green hue with streaks of cream and purple, and featuring bristly, reddish margins. In exposed locations, the foliage may develop red tones, particularly during the winter months. The plant produces branched reddish-green stems that support dense clusters of purplish-pink flowers, typically appearing in late winter and early spring.
