Anemone obtusiloba is a low-growing perennial, reaching heights of up to 15 cm. It features softly hairy leaves that are distinctly lobed. Throughout late spring and into summer, it produces clusters of two to three flowers, which can be blue, white, or, less commonly, yellow. Each flower measures between 2 and 5 cm across and consists of 4 to 6 rounded petals.
