About
Anemone hupehensis 'Pocahontas' is a compact, upright perennial with a rhizomatous growth habit. Its dark green, palmate leaves are toothed, providing a lush backdrop for its sturdy, branching stems. From midsummer through autumn, the plant produces numerous double flowers that are slightly cupped and rose-pink, adorned with frilled, sinuate-edged petals and a central cluster of golden stamens. As the seasons change, the plant transitions to display cotton-white seed heads, adding visual interest throughout autumn and winter.
