Paphiopedilum Berenice gx is an evergreen orchid that forms clumps and grows in a semi-terrestrial habitat. Its leaves are linear, glossy, and can reach lengths of up to 50 cm. From the center of the leaf rosette, flowering stems can extend up to 70 cm and typically bear 3 to 7 sizable blooms. This primary hybrid, resulting from the cross of two species, features elongated, narrow petals in a dark pink hue with a distinctive spiral twist. The dorsal sepal is either pale green or pale yellow, adorned with darker pink or brown stripes.

Paphiopedilum species typically grow on the ground, as well as in rocky habitats or in trees. They do not have pseudobulbs and feature short stems topped with long, leathery leaves that resemble straps. Each stem culminates in either a single flower or a cluster of 2 to 8 flowers, each characterized by a uniquely shaped lip or pouch.
