A registered hybrid Zygopetalum orchid bearing long-lasting, scented flowers with characteristically mottled and blotched green and brown tepals and a broad, spreading, dark-veined, white and purple lip, borne on upright stems in autumn and winter. An excellent and free-flowering orchid for a cool to intermediate glasshouse or bright windowsill.
About the genus
Zygopetalum consists of around 14 species of orchid, native to the humid forests of South America and Brazil. They are known for their scented, waxy flowers. These long-lived blooms can be patterned in hues of green, purple, burgundy and raspberry.
