About

A variety of common ginger from Southeast Asia (sunti), closely resembling the typical variety but differing in minor characters of the rhizome and inflorescence. Grown primarily as a culinary and medicinal ginger, it is cultivated for its aromatic rhizomes and two-ranked lance-shaped leaves to about 1m tall.
