About
A mound-forming, evergreen perennial to 25cm tall, with branching, brittle stems and sticky, grey-green leaves to 4cm long. From early to late summer it produces highly scented, saucer-shaped, crimson-backed white flowers; these are closed during the day and open in the evening.
About the genus
Zaluzianskya is a genus of compact, semi-evergreen perennials. By day, the flowers remain tightly curled up but by evening, uncurl into scented star-shaped white flowers blooming from mid to late summer.
