About

A spectacular, giant epiphytic bromeliad from Brazil forming a massive rosette to 2m across of broadly strap-shaped, dark green, channelled leaves, with a tall, branched inflorescence bearing panicles of small, tubular, white flowers. One of the largest Vriesea species, requiring a warm, humid tropical glasshouse with space for its imposing size.
