About
A vigorous, deciduous tendril-climber to about 10m from eastern Asia (Amur valley) with large, three- to five-lobed, dark green leaves that turn vivid crimson, scarlet, and purple in autumn, among the finest of all climbing plants for autumn colour. Bears small, black, barely edible berries; grown primarily for its spectacular foliage.
