About

A vigorous, deciduous tendril-climber to about 6m with deeply three-lobed, mid-green, silver-backed (argentifolia) leaves turning brilliant orange, red, and purple in autumn. A striking ornamental grape from eastern North America, grown primarily for its exceptional autumn foliage colour and edible but astringent small blue-black fruits.
