An evergreen shrub to about 1m tall from Chile with small, leathery, elliptic, dark green leaves and small, bell-shaped, creamy-white or pale pink flowers in summer. A little-known ornamental for a warm, sheltered, well-drained position in a mild garden or cool glasshouse.
