About
A rhizomatous, deciduous perennial from the mountains of Yunnan and Sichuan, China, to about 1m tall with pleated, mid-green leaves and branched panicles of small, greenish-white flowers in midsummer. A rare and little-grown species for moist, shaded conditions in a woodland garden.
