About

A compact, clump-forming perennial to about 30cm tall from mountain grasslands in the Alps and Pyrenees with palmately divided, mid-green leaves and slender, erect, wiry stems bearing small, white to pale pink, star-shaped flowerheads surrounded by a neat ruff of narrow, petal-like bracts in summer.
