A very large, submerged aquatic perennial with very long, bright green, strap-like leaves to 2m or more. One of the largest tape grasses, producing spectacular underwater ribbons of foliage in a pond or aquarium and small, inconspicuous flowers that float on the water surface. Suited to large aquatic features or tropical aquaria.
