About

An evergreen shrub or tree to 10m tall, with glossy, dark green leaves, to 12cm long, arranged in spiral formation on long leaf stalks around the stems. In late spring and early summer, green, petalless flowers are produced in clusters at the tips of the shoots.

Trochodendron is an evergreen shrub or tree which can reach a height of around 20m. Leaves are leathery dark green with yellowish-green flowers. The flowers have no petals but around 40 to 70 stamens instead. The fruit they produce is woody and star-shaped.
